Volunteering

Sikh Charities and Volunteering

Sikh people have a rich tradition of volunteering known as “seva” which is the giving of ones time and money to a cause that will help create a fairer world.

We will be adding more volunteering projects and sikh charities in 2012 with which City Professionals can become involved with and contribute their time and skills.

The idea is that you will be able to look through the list of projects to be listed below and contact our charity partners directly. If you have a project that you need volunteers for then please contact us at info@citysikhs.org.uk

The Gurseva Project

You can help in many ways including food prepartion and distribution, giving out hot drinks, talking with those who are affected by homelessness.
