“An Evening of Indian Classical Music” at the House of Commons Jun 2016

Raj Academy is a school of sound, dedicated to the revival and preservation of authentic Sikh Music. Sharing the techniques of its therapeutic values through performance and education to promote a quality experience.

Reflections on the 1984 Anti-Sikh Pogroms” Dec 2014

The City Sikhs Network (CSN) in partnership with Wiener Library were honoured to host Professor Swaran P. Singh as a speaker as part of the programming for the exhibition ‘The 1984 Anti-Sikh Pogroms Remembered’. Professor Swaran P Singh is head of the Division of Mental Health and Wellbeing, University of Warwick. He is also a Commissioner of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, mandated by the UK Parliament.

“Express Yourself” Aug 2013

Express Yourself is an event aimed at encouraging public speaking and team building and provides an opportunity for up to 25 people to do a 5 minute talk in front of an audience about any topic they wish.

“Spiritual Inspirations in the City” May 2013

On 22nd May 2013, an inspiring panel of speakers came together near London Wall at an event co-hosted by the City of London Police and the City Sikhs Network to talk about their own spiritual beliefs in order to inspire others.

Around 100 people were enthralled by panellists including Uttrang Kaur Khalsa (formerly Alexandra Aitken), Fateh Singh (a follower of Hanmi Buddhism) and Rajinder Singh Sawhney (presenter of Ek Concious Living).

“Inspirations from GT” at SOAS Sep 2011

The Punjabi Heritage Association in conjunction with The City Sikhs Network were proud to present “Inspiration from the Golden Temple” a special evening consisting of a tour of the Golden Temple Exhibition followed by 2 inspirational talks and a panel discussion followed by networking. Our speakers included Guruka Singh – CEO and Founder of Sikhnet. Guruka Singh now teaches all over the world and was one of the first teachers trained by Yogi Bhajan. The second speaker was Parmjit Singh Director of UK Punjabi Heritage Association who an independent researcher specialising in the culture, history and heritage of the Sikhs and Punjab.
